Dr. Charlotte Bach
... was a minor sensation in London during the 1970s. She developed and publicized her own theory of human evolution and attracted a following.

The theory is often summarized as "sexual deviation is the mainspring of evolution". In other words, the diversity of human sexual expression creates inner tensions which drive the development of the imagination and the creation of culture and religions.

Many observers have noted that transgenders are a particularly imaginative and inventive group of people.

Dr. Charlotte Bach was discovered to be a cross-living transwoman (with male anatomy) at the time of her death. The book "Who was Dr. Charlotte Bach?" gives the background of how a Hungarian boy made his way to the UK and lived an unusual life with several distinct identities.

Born Carl Hadju, Bach's antics included pretending to be a Baron, numerous cons including a fake charity to support Hungarian freedom fighters, running an apartment finding agency, practicing hypnotherapy, working as a prostitute and pro-domme, several stints in jail, and a dubious but fascinating academic career.

regrettably, there is little I can find on her theories themselves. There is a small web site about her. From what I have been able to ferret out, she was thinking along many of the same lines as Joan Roughgarden and Evolution's Rainbow.

While I have endeavored to live honestly, I identify with her academic attitude. Like Charlotte, I don't really have a degree in anything but I still love doing research and coming up with wild ideas.

Eve's Friday Nights Out
... have continued unabated. We have had anywhere from 2-5 of us appear at Eve's, and we usually meet up with a few more over at Diva's.

Eve now has a photo setup so we can take pictures of ourselves before we venture out into the night. Here is a picture of me from last night. I did attract considerable attention and several business propositions!

Jamie Revises Her Primary Home Page
At long last, I went through all of my TGForum photo features and articles for the past several years and updated the indexes on my home page to refer to local copies on my personal web site.

There are still a number of interesting posts in my blog here and in posting to TGPartyGirls on Yahoo that I should collect together at some point. Until then, I will try and keep the main index page up to date with the new stuff I come up with.
